120 young drinkers hospitalised

 120 young drinkers hospitalised: "More than 100 children aged 14 and under were treated for alcohol-related issues in Scotland's largest health board area last year.
The statistics were published as alcohol support groups said they are now being called in to help youngsters at an earlier age.
In the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde area, 120 children aged 14 and under were hospitalised with alcohol-related conditions, and a further 309 youngsters aged 15 to 17 received hospital treatment in 2010.
NHS Tayside said 306 youngsters under 18 were treated at the accident and emergency unit for alcohol-related issues at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, with 196 aged 16 to 17 requiring emergency care last year.
The figures were released following a Freedom of Information request by The Scottish Mail on Sunday newspaper.

She said she started drinking as a primary four pupil and developed a 'serious problem with alcohol' as a teenager."
