Zheng Xiaoyu, former head of China's drug watchdog, has been executed.
Zheng is another corrupt official to receive capital punishment after Cheng Kejie, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) and Hu Changqing, vice-governor of Jiangxi province, east China, were executed .
